Rotary Lytham’s 20th charity golf day at Fairhaven Golf Club will support Brian House Children’s Hospice
Rotary Lytham has announced that its 20th annual charity golf day will support Brian House Children’s Hospice, along with other local charities supported by Lytham Rotary Club.
A charity golf day is set to raise money for a charity offering overnight and day care to children living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.

Rotary Lytham’s 20th annual charity golf day will support Brian House Children’s Hospice, along with other local charities supported by Lytham Rotary Club.
The event takes place on Tuesday, June 30 at Fairhaven Golf Club, recognised as one of the finest championship courses in the north of England, and team places are still available.
The day will feature an AM/AM competition, with teams of four playing Four Ball Stableford with the best two scores to count.
Teams may be all men, all ladies, or mixed. It will be a Full Handicap competition, up to a maximum of 24 for men and 32 for ladies.
The entry fee includes a bacon sandwich and a hot drink on arrival, a three-course dinner and prize giving. There will also be prizes for the first three teams, and many subsidiary prizes for longest drive and nearest the pin as well as raffle and auction prizes.

David Barnett, President of Rotary Lytham, said “Our annual golf day continues to be a highlight in Rotary Lytham’s calendar, offering keen golfers the chance to play on such a picturesque, challenging course which has been the home of some truly prestigious events.
“We’re delighted to be supporting Brian House as one of our beneficiary charities this year. Brian House is a wonderful place offering overnight and day care to children living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. We know how important Brian House is to the families who need it, and hope to raise as much as possible for this vital charity on the Fylde coast.”
Katy Nelson, Community Engagement Officer at Brian House, said the charity was grateful for Rotary Lytham’s support as the hospice celebrates its 30th birthday.
“We are very fortunate to have the support of this very generous organisation, and are delighted that members have chosen to support our children’s hospice through their Golf Day event this year.
“At Brian House, we believe in making the most of every day, and the money raised by Rotary Lytham for Brian House will be used to create truly special memories for the children we are caring for, from days out to a creative session in our art room – these memories will be treasured for a lifetime, because we know all too well that some lives are too short.”
