Bringing back the lost art of ‘disagreeing agreeably’ they share their opinions from opposite ends of the political spectrum – Stewart is a former Conservative cabinet minister, while Campbell was Labour’s communications director under Tony Blair.

Now both estranged from their parties, the pair’s podcast gives them the chance to say exactly what they think.

Anthony Williams, sales and marketing Manager of the Winter Gardens Blackpool, said: “The brilliant ‘The Rest is Politics’ podcast is witty and engaging and delivers a refreshing balance of policy and world events from these two charismatic heavyweights.

“We are delighted that they will be appearing as part of our Word Fest. event in October joining the line-up already confirmed. It’s set to be an amazing weekend.”
