Blackpool takes over Manchester and Liverpool for special ticket launch
Commuters and visitors to Manchester and Liverpool city centres experienced a Blackpool welcome this week.
To celebrate the launch of their ‘best-value product ever’ the Blackpool Tourism Limited team hit the streets of the popular cities.
Blackpool Tourism Limited, the operator of all of Blackpool Council attractions, launched its 2026 tourism season with a bang earlier this week, revealing a new ‘Ultimate Ticket’.

The Ultimate Ticket, priced at £65, gives guests entry to six of Blackpool’s most iconic attractions:
- The Blackpool Tower Top
- Sandcastle Waterpark
- Pleasure Beach Resort
- Madame Tussauds Blackpool
- The Blackpool Tower Dungeon
- The Blackpool Tower Circus
After booking either The Blackpool Tower Top or Sandcastle Waterpark as their starting attraction, visitors have 90 days to enjoy the remaining experiences.
A team from Blackpool visited Fairfield Street in Manchester and Parr Street in Liverpool on Thursday (March 19), encouraging people to try their luck and win an Ultimate Ticket via a billboard with a twist. The billboard is covered in detachable tickets giving people the chance to win one of the new tickets.
Kate Shane MBE, Managing Director of Blackpool Tourism Limited, said: “Visitors to Blackpool expect world-class attractions and unforgettable experiences - and above all, they expect value for money.

“We’ve listened carefully to feedback and reviewed our pricing to ensure our attractions remain affordable and accessible for everyone.
“The Ultimate Ticket is the best-value product ever launched in Blackpool. It gives people compelling reasons to visit, to stay and - most importantly - to return.
“English Tourism Week is the perfect moment to unveil our new tickets and to recognise everyone who is supporting the tourism industry both in Blackpool and across the country.”
