The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's visit to Blackpool has been a careful planned affair, with details laid down well in advance of the day.

And while the royal couple will visit some of the town's landmarks, including the iconic tower - it got us wondering where they should visit for a true taste of the resort. Here is our alternative royal tour to-do list.

There's no better way than seeing everything Blackpool has to offer than a stroll down the Promenade. Let's hope they get time.
