Every time you move closer towards your goal, that is a win.

If your goal is to lose 5lbs and you lose 1lb, celebrate it because you are closer than you were in the first place.

Celebrating your wins will help to keep you motivated and give you a surge to push forwards.

If you don’t celebrate little wins because you are so focused on the big goal, then you will spend all of your time looking at where you are going instead of appreciating how far you have come.

Set your goals and set little targets to celebrate along the way.

Make your celebrations count as well – something that you will enjoy.

I don’t mean a cheat meal that you will later regret – celebrate with something fulfilling.

Don’t get so caught up on where you need to go that you forget where you’ve come from.
