Fleetwood Town Juniors Under-8 Reds complete 1,000-mile charity challenge
The team’s parent representative and welfare officer Louise Holden, who set up the online appeal via the gofundme website, was delighted to reveal it’s a case of mission accomplished.
Louise, whose son Alfie plays for the team, told The Gazette: “The boys have now completed 1006 miles in just three weeks and raised roughly £2,000.
“The page is still open for donations.”
