How Blackpool's recent departures have fared in early weeks with new clubs
Several players left Blackpool during the winter transfer window.
A number of former Blackpool have been adapting to new surroundings in the last few weeks.
Several individuals departed Bloomfield Road during the winter transfer window - with some of the exits coming on the club’s terms, while others were out of the Seasiders’ hands.
While some of the business done was due to easing short-term problems, other bits saw Ian Evatt put his own stamp on proceedings on the back of his appointment as head coach in October.
Here’s how the recent departures have fared with their new clubs:
Emil Hansson

Emil Hansson was initially signed to play as a winger under Steve Bruce, but once a change of manager occurred, his natural position was taken out of the equation.
The 27-year-old was used a couple of times as an attacking midfielder, before his game time started to dry up throughout December.
Ultimately both out wide under Bruce and in the centre under Evatt, Hansson never truly looked at home in Tangerine.
He was recalled by Birmingham City at the start of January, in order to facilitate a move to Excelsior Rotterdam on a free transfer.
Since making the move back to the Eredivisie, Hansson has been on hand with one goal in his first five outings.
Danny Imray

Danny Imray was a player Blackpool didn’t want to lose.
After spending some time on the sidelines through injury during the first half of the campaign, the Crystal Palace defender excelled at wing-back under Evatt throughout December, and looked like a class above in League One.
Unfortunately, he over performed in some ways, with his parent club recalling him, before sending him back out on loan to West Brom in the Championship.
Imray currently finds himself in a relegation battle at the bottom end of the second tier.
After being subbed at half time of a 3-0 defeat to Portsmouth on his debut for the Baggies, he’s featured a further three times in all competitions.
In West Brom’s most recent game against Coventry City, Imray was an unused substitute.
Scott Banks

Scott Banks is another player who didn’t quite fit in under Evatt after being signed on loan from St. Pauli by Bruce.
The 24-year-old did show his quality in Tangerine, but just couldn’t nail a regular spot in the Seasiders starting XI.
After being recalled last month, he was immediately sent back out on loan to Barnsley.
Banks has enjoyed himself so far at Oakwell, providing four assists and scoring one goal in six appearances for the Tykes.
Lee Evans

Lee Evans exited Blackpool permanently on Deadline Day, with things not working out for the midfielder at Bloomfield Road this season.
The 31-year-old made the switch to Bradford City, penning a deal at Valley Parade until the end of the season.
Evans has featured four times for the Hatters so far, with his last two outings seeing him get 90 minutes under his belt.
During that time, the former Wales international has also picked up an assist.
