The goalscoring midfielder arrives on an initial 18-month contract with the option to extend by a further year.
Garrity has hit doubles figures for Warrington this term, having previously helped the Yellows to divisional play-off success last season.
Speaking before the behind-closed-doors encounter, manager Simon Grayson said: “There will be one or two players who have played very recently in the first-team that probably need that extra game to give them a bit more sharpness ahead of a busy period.
“They can be called upon at any time.

“We’ve got to turn the results around quickly. We’ve got to get back on the front foot, play with a passion and a purpose, play in the right areas and play with quality.
"A win at the weekend could then transform our season.”
