The defender ended a nine-year stay with Wigan Athletic to join the Seasiders for the 2015/16 season. But his spell on the Fylde coast didnt last long, the right-back opting to retire after being released.
14. SUB: Will Aimson
The centre back joined Bury at the end of the 2017/18 season, helping the club to promotion from League Two the following season. Following Burys financial plight, Aimson linked up with former boss Ryan Lowe at Plymouth Argyle in July 2019.
15. SUB: Liam Smith
Spent a brief loan spell with the club from Newcastle United, making eight appearances. The midfielder then had a loan spell at Crewe cut short by injuries. Last seen looking for a club in non-league having held trials with Gateshead and Hartlepool.
16. SUB: Mark Yeates
Moved to Notts County during the 2017 January transfer window, only to drop into non-league with Eastleigh a few months later. The attacking midfielder returned to Lancashire at the start of the season when he joined AFC Fylde.
17. SUB: Martin Paterson
Joined Port Vale after his one season with Pool. Released early due to injury problems and his unpopularity with fans given his previous Stoke City connections, Paterson went on to play for Tampa Bay Rowdies in the US and ATK in India, where he was signed by Teddy Sheringham.
18. SUB: Uche Ikpeazu
After failing to score for Pool during his loan spell from Watford, the big striker went on to sign permanently for Cambridge United in the summer of 2016. After getting among the goals, he earned a move to Hearts in the SPL.
