7. David Norris
After being released, he signed for non-league side Leatherhead the following season, a side that were managed by former teammate Jimmy Bullard. Hes also featured for Salford City, Shaw Lane, Boston United and most recently Lancaster City.
8. Brad Potts
Earned a move to Barnsley in 2017 after helping guide the Seasiders back to League One at the first attempt. Pool later earned some more cash from a sell-on clause when Potts moved to rivals Preston for a reported 1.5m fee.
9. Danny Philliskirk
After being released at the end of the 2017/18 season, Philliskirk remained in Lancashire by joining AFC Fylde. He remains at Mill Farm having helped them lift the FA Trophy at Wembley last season.
10. Jacob Blyth
After making eight appearances on loan from Leicester City, the forward joined Scottish side Motherwell on a permanent deal at the end of the season. He returned to England a year later, joining Barrow in the National League, but now plays his football in League Two with Macclesfield Town.
11. Jack Redshaw
Beset by injury problems, the striker initially left Pool on loan with Rochdale. But he left permanently in 2017, linking up with Salford City in the National League. Hes scored three times in 15 games for Halifax Town this season.
12. SUB: Kyle Letheren
The goalkeepers contract was cancelled by mutual consent in August 2016 to allow him to join non-league side York City on a free transfer. Letheren re-signed for Plymouth Argyle in 2017 before moving to Salford City in 2019.
