Shayne Lavery beats Sol Bamba to a bouncing ball before glancing a header straight at Joe Lumley. Pool well on top.

CJ Hamilton is denied by the legs of Joe Lumley, but the linesman’s flag is raised for offside.

The North Stand are absolutely boisterous here. Great noise.

The North Stand are trying to suck the ball into the Boro net. The Seasiders are enjoying a sustained spell of pressure, James Husband glancing a header just wide from a corner.

Josh Bowler is playing like a man possessed tonight, just like a prime Messi. Perhaps PSG have got the wrong man?

Shayne Lavery chases down a lost cause, which finds its way through to Joe Lumley. The North Stand still recognises the sheer effort though, giving the striker a deserved ovation.

What a man.

Callum Connolly picks out Josh Bowler with a lovely through-ball, but the winger’s cross flies straight into the hands of Joe Lumley. Bright start though.

We’re back underway

Grant Ward, who replaces Kenny Dougall as expected, gets the second-half underway.

No changes for the away side.

And that brings an end to an excellent first-half from the Seasiders. Boos ring out from the away end, which is always a good sign.

Callum Connolly’s goal on the half-hour mark is the difference, but really the Seasiders should be two or three ahead. Josh Bowler and Shayne Lavery have been excellent in particular, but Neil Critchley’s men have been impressive from back to front.

45+1 - Bowler again!

The winger fizzes well over after seeing off a couple of challenges on the edge of the Boro box. Bowler has been unplayable at times tonight.
