Dannen Francis dribbles into the Huddersfield box after being picked out in space on the right, but the visitors recover to clear.

We’re back underway

Luke Mariette gets the second-half started.

A deserved half-time lead for the young Seasiders, who have played some impressive stuff. They’ve restricted the visitors to very little.

There will be one minute of time added on at the end of the first-half.

44 - Defending to do

Huddersfield curl a deep free-kick into the Blackpool box but it’s dealt with well.

The visitors have offered very little this half, it has to be said. That should take nothing away from the Seasiders though, who have been very good.

The quality on show has understandably dropped a little as both sides struggle to get to grips with the lashing rain.

A missed clearance gives Jake Daniels the chance to run down the right wing towards the Huddersfield goal, but he gets the ball mixed under his feet and the visitors clear.

The aptly-named Huddersfield striker Conor Falls goes to ground in the Blackpool box but the referee emphatically waves away the penalty appeals.

Falls then shoots over from a right-wing cross a moment later.

25 - GOAL BLACKPOOL! (1-0)

Johnny Johnston gives Blackpool a deserved lead with a fine header that leaves Michael Acquah rooted to the spot.

Get in!

That’s another good stop from Michael Acquah, who pushes away Joe Strawn’s curling effort away from goal.
