Blackpool considerations for Tranmere Rovers plan explained ahead of second pre-season test
Blackpool take on Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park on Saturday afternoon.
Blackpool are continuing to push their players ahead of their second pre-season friendly.
The Seasiders’ started their summer schedule with a 3-2 victory over AFC Fylde, with Tom Bloxham, Albie Morgan and Niall Ennis all on the scoresheet at Mill Farm.
For the fixture against the National League North champions, head coach Ian Evatt opted to name two different starting XIs for each half.
The first team squad are currently enjoying another week at Squires Gate ahead of their next pre-season test - which comes away to Tranmere Rovers on Saturday afternoon.

One of the considerations for the Blackpool boss is how to manage the minutes of his players at Prenton Park, and whether to stick with a 45 minute limit or push them further less than a month out before their EFL Cup first round opener against Grimsby Town.
“We’ll monitor this week in training,” Evatt said after the Fylde win.
“We’ve pushed them really hard, but we have to in order to produce the level of performance that you saw in the first 25/30 minutes in particular.
“We’ll go again this week, and see where we are. We’re monitoring the data; we’re not going to over cook them, but we have to find a sweet spot where we are getting stronger and better week in, week out.
“Hopefully we’ll have another good week at Squires, and we’ll see where we’re at on Saturday.”
