'Disciplined' - Blackpool approach to summer business explained following Huddersfield Town and Exeter City additions
Blackpool have signed two players so far this summer.
Ian Evatt states Blackpool are taking a disciplined approach to their summer transfer business.
The Seasiders have made two signings so far this summer, as they look to strengthen their squad options to avoid another disappointing year in League One.
Dion Charles has boosted an already strong strike-force, with the ex-Bolton Wanderers man making a season-long loan from Huddersfield Town, while Ilmari Niskanen has made the Bloomfield Road switch as a free agent following the conclusion of his contract with Exeter City.

Both players arrived before Blackpool’s recent pre-season trip to Girona, but no additional faces have joined them since.
While Evatt admits the Seasiders squad was thin for the opening friendly of the summer away to AFC Fylde on Saturday afternoon; he isn’t willing to be rushed into any business that may not be right for his side.
“What we’re trying to be is really disciplined,” he said.
“We know what we want, and what it looks like. We are being patient enough to go after it.
“We don’t want to have to settle; we want to make sure that whatever we do is in the best interests of this football club - that’s our ambition and aim.
“Whatever we do in the transfer market is to make us better and stronger, but sometimes that takes a little bit of discipline.
“It’s a long window, and there’s a knock on effect with the World Cup with players being away.
“The Premier League teams are going on big tours and need players around to fill that, which has a knock on effect with players not going out on loan and clubs not wanting to release players.
“It’s a slow one but the support I’m getting from David (Downes), Nick (Horne) and Simon (Sadler) is top class. We’re just taking a really disciplined approach with it all.”
