The season tickets, which go on sale at 10am, will only be available for purchase on the club’s e-ticketing site.

Early-bird prices for adults vary from £229 to £449, depending on which area of the stadium you choose to sit in.

A typical seat in the North, West and South stands will cost £269. This rises to £299 when the early-bird deadline passes.

In the event of home games being played behind closed doors, the club will give supporters access to iFollow streaming.

“We would like to thank our fans for their support so far during the Covid-19 pandemic,” the club said in a statement.

“We understand that everyone is excited about how the squad is taking shape and the work Neil Critchley and his staff are doing.

“We are continuing to work hard to strengthen the squad and with your support we can push ahead with our promotion ambition this season

“Therefore, and further to the EFL’s announcement that the 20/21 season will start on September 12, the club feels now is the right time to allow our 19/20 season ticket holders to renew and to make season tickets available for all Seasiders.”

The early-bird discount applies until 5pm on Tuesday, August 18, when tickets will then move up to the full price.

However, season ticket holders from the 2019/20 campaign will have until 5pm on Monday, August 31 to retain their current seat.

Supporters can either pay up front for their season ticket or in monthly installments via retail finance.

The club added: “In the event that any home fixtures included as part of your season ticket are played behind closed doors, or with a reduced capacity that affects your entrance to the stadium during the 20/21 season, it will be the club’s intention (subject to governing body permissions) to provide you with a streaming voucher for the iFollow system or some equivalent service to view the fixture free of charge.

“If social distancing measures are required within the stadium and this affects capacity and/or where supporters can sit, the club will try to allow as many supporters as possible to sit in the seat that they renew or purchase. If a reallocation is required, the club will seek to place supporters as close to their normal seat as possible.

“There will be no refund to a season ticket holder in the event a fixture must be played behind closed doors or due to a reduced capacity stadium so long as the fixture has been made available via a streaming service.

“In the event that the 20/21 season does not start or is curtailed, then the club reserves its rights but supporters are reminded of the refund options that the club provided for the 19/20 season, namely leaving the money with the club, a partial refund, using the refund against a ticket for 20/21 and for ticketing initiatives for key workers and local groups.”
