'Best for a while' to 'hideous' - Blackpool FC faithful deliver mixed reviews on new kit
Blackpool have released their new home kit for the 2026/27 campaign.
The release of Blackpool’s new home kit has been greeted by mixed reviews from the Bloomfield Road faithful.
As usual, the Seasiders will be in their iconic Tangerine and White for the 2026/27 League One campaign - with no surprises in that department.
A difference from last season’s strip is a patterned sleeve featuring the two main colours.
Other than that, the rest of the shirt is a solid block of Tangerine, with a white collar.
The principal home kit sponsor is once again local business TreadTracker - who have presented a rebranded logo as part of the recent launch.
Meanwhile, this marks Puma’s seventh season as Blackpool’s official kit partner, with the current deal coming to an end next summer.
Fans react to latest kit

The latest release has certainly divided opinion on social media, with a range of reviews being left.
Among the positive comments, one fan wrote: “Love it.”
Another added: “Looks fantastic.”
A third stated: “At least it’s different from last year so it won’t look like I am wearing the same shirt. It’s Tangerine and White, so no problem for me.”
A fourth noted: “A bit different from the norm. Quite like it.”
While a fifth claimed: “Best one for a while.”
In contrast, some fans have been left disappointed, with the design of the sleeves being criticised in particular.
One wrote: “Awful.”
A second simply described it as: “Hideous.”
Another stated: “The sleeves would be fine if they ran into the shirt better, but looks weird that it just stops and then it’s just plain Tangerine. Not the best in my opinion, but I’ll buy it however bad as I want to support the club and its colours.”
A fourth added: “Why are there pianos on the arms? I hate it, but I’m also fickle. Will wait until we win our first 10 and cave in/ wait 12 months and buy it on sale.”
