Blackpool FC hand pair new deals they make the step up following season conclusion

Kai Crowe and Charlie Brier have both signed professional contracts with Blackpool.

Blackpool have handed professional contracts to two of their young goalkeepers following the conclusion of the 2025/26 campaign.

Kai Crowe and Charlie Brier have put pen to paper on 12-month deals - with one year options available on both.

The pair have been exposed to life with the first-team in different ways as they have progressed through the Bloomfield Road pathway.

Crowe, who joined the Seasiders as an U15 from Manchester United, regularly trained with the senior squad at Squires Gate last season, as well featuring 21 times with Longridge Town out on loan.

Meanwhile, Brier was a consistent starter for Matthew Blinkhorn’s U18s side at Blackpool, and was able to keep a clean sheet in April’s LFA Professional Youth Cup win against Bolton Wanderers at the County Ground.

The young shot stopper headed to Spain with the senior squad last summer, while since then, he’s spent time on loan with both Longridge and Trafford FC.
