AFC Fylde make special deliveries for Christmas
These were filled with food and other presents, including football kits and footballs.
The Foundation was determined to make this special season as memorable as possible for the children and families, and first-team players from the club received an overwhelming welcome as they delivered the hampers and gifts.

Hide AdAdhering to social distancing rules, players greeted the delighted children outside their homes and posed for photographs with them.
Foundation media officer Linus Welsh said: “The present appeal was a fantastic success.
“We were determined to run an event that really gave local families and children a feeling that they were not alone and we were here to support them through these difficult times.
“We worked closely with a lot of local organisations and the end result was truly fantastic to see.

Fylde Under-18s’ FA Youth Cup third-round tie away to Cambridge United has been rearranged for Wednesday, January 13, with a 6pm kick-off.
The tie was postponed a fortnight ago due to a waterlogged pitch at the Abbey Stadium.
