35 superbly Blackpool retro pictures of Chapel Street, Rigby Road and Central Drive as £90m plans are revealed

A throwback to three of Blackpool’s most central streets, through decades of change.

Rigby Road, home to the bus depot, the notorious Central Drive area and Chapel Street which is undergoing it’s own transformation, are all featured in photos which go back decades. Only this week it was revealed that they will be the focus of a £90m, 20 year vision to transform housing in Blackpool’s inner areas.
