Major update on police's early morning call to concern for welfare near Blackpool's North Pier
Concern raised over safety of man in his 40s
Police were called to a concern for welfare on Blackpool’s Promenade close to North Pier in the early hours of Sunday, September 6.
The concern was over a man in his 40s and Lancashire Police confirmed that the call came in at 1.54am.
A spokesperson for the force said the man was found on the beach near the water at 2.07am and led to safety, with the situation resolved at 2.11am.
