Update from The Nolans revealing their Christmas show dates in Blackpool and special guest at House of Secrets

Blackpool’s much-loved Anne, Denise and Maureen Nolan are in town this Christmas for a special series of festive shows, bringing audiences an afternoon of music, laughter, memories and plenty of Christmas cheer.

The Nolans were the girls next door who captured the hearts of a generation and now, more than four decades after I’m in the Mood for Dancing became their signature hit, they will come together once again for a limited run of intimate Christmas shows at House of Secrets.

And joining them this year will be their nephew Shane Nolan who will host the afternoon with his trademark wit, warmth and impeccable timing.

Anne Nolan said: “Christmas has always been such a special time for our family, so the idea of spending some of it together on stage in Blackpool just feels natural. We were first discovered over the Christmas period in 1974, and from that the sister act was born so it will be great to tell some tales from those days and share a few new ones too”.

Throughout the afternoon, the ladies will perform a selection of their favourite Christmas classics, share stories from more than five decades on and off the stage and answer questions from the audience. And, of course, with three Nolans in the room, audiences can expect plenty of laughter, family banter and a few surprises along the way.

Denise Nolan said: “There’s something really lovely about a Christmas show because everyone comes in ready to have a good time. We’ve spent our whole lives singing together as a family, and some of my happiest memories are of us all around the table at Christmas. These shows will be very relaxed and intimate, lovely songs, lots of stories and, knowing our family, probably quite a lot of laughing at each other!”

Every ticket includes an exclusive Meet & Greet with Anne, Denise and Maureen Nolan following the show, giving audiences the opportunity to meet the ladies themselves. Guests will also receive a limited-edition signed photograph as a special keepsake from the afternoon.

Maureen Nolan added: “Blackpool is where we grew up, where so much of our story began and we have done panto here over the years too. To be back here at Christmas with Anne and Denise, singing together and getting to meet everyone afterwards, will be really special. We want people to leave feeling like they’ve spent the afternoon having Christmas with the Nolans, just hopefully with slightly less chaos than the real thing!”
