The supermarket dominated the Food and Drug Retailers category, awarded gold for their redeveloped Booths brand, and silver for their tongue-in-cheek slogan bags.

The awards recognise the best examples of design which have had a measurable effect upon business success; both redeveloped ranges resulted in a sharp increase in sales.

The Booths brand range and slogan bags were designed with long term creative partners Smith & Village.

Julie Mills, Marketing Director at Booths said, “We are delighted to see the Booths brand recognised at these esteemed awards.

“We have placed great emphasis on re-invigorating our Booths brand in the last two years and our customers have loved the new ranges.”

Julie Mills said: “The Booths slogan bags, which were developed in response to 2015’s plastic bag legislation, serve as a witty and irreverent way to underscore the uniqueness of the Booths brand.

“The bags work as a “nod and a wink” to Booths shoppers. They’re fun, clever and collectable and a welcome support for our beloved brand.”
