£23k funding brings new opportunities for Fleetwood young people
A £23,000 funding boost will deliver a fully accessible community minibus for Fleetwood’s Youth Hub.
A new £23,000 community minibus is set to transform opportunities for young people in Fleetwood, thanks to funding secured through Lancashire Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw and local partners.
The vehicle will support the Youth Hub, delivered through Volunteer Centre Blackpool, Wyre & Fylde in partnership with Wyre Council and the Department for Work and Pensions.
The Hub provides vital wrap-around wellbeing and employability support to local people aged 16 to 64 who face barriers to education and work.
