Could you be the right person for a very special job?
Poulton needs a new Santa because their usual man in a big red suit cannot make it for the big switch on event on December 4.
It’s an important job which will take around two hours and is sure to bring Christmas magic to the town’s main event.
But there’s one extra skill that’s required.
On their Facebook page, organisers said: “There’s an extra special reason to get involved
“This is a charity event raising money for Homeless Hounds – Dogs In Need!
“So Santa needs to be dog-friendly!
“We have lots of lovely people who bring their dogs along to meet Santa too, so our Santa needs to be completely comfortable with four-legged visitors.
“Our Santa must be a very convincing Santa, be happy around dogs, be friendly, fun and full of Christmas spirit, be DBS checked and be happy to support a fantastic charity.
“Somewhere out there is the perfect Santa and we need to find him!”
