Mick said: “We are thrilled to have once again raised so much for our chosen charities through this event.

“We are very lucky to be so supported by the same teams, who return year after year for a great round of golf with such an important charity message behind it.

“These teams have become family through the St George’s Day event, along with the incredible people who support it behind the scenes and on the day itself.

“We simply wouldn’t be able to host this event without sponsorship from Tangerine Holdings owner David Haythornthwaite and everyone at Ribby Hall Village and their families and friends who volunteer on the day.

“A huge thank you to everyone who made it such a fantastic event, raising much needed money for our chosen causes, where every penny really will make such a difference.”

Trinity Hospice and Brian House’s Fundraising Relationship Manager, Jane Molyneux, added: “We are so pleased to have once again been chosen as one of the benefiting charities of this very popular St George’s Golf Day.

“Not only is this event an incredible achievement for Mick, Mark and everyone involved in the St George’s Charity Golf Day, but it really does mean so much to the charities like ours that they have chosen to support.

“The money raised for Trinity and Brian House will help us to provide outstanding hospice care and support to patients and their families on the Fylde coast wherever they are, day and night.”
