People have been sharing their memories of a long-standing Italian restaurant in Blackpool that has been put up for lease.

Mamma's, on Topping Street, close in March due to the lockdown but has since been put on the market.

After 40 years in business, many have reacted with sadness that the restaurant may have closed its doors for the final time.

My very first Italian meal was here. I thought I was very brave having the Inglese pizza, I have certainly branched out since then. Sue Dutton

I can't imagine going to Blackpool without Mammas. I don't live there anymore but every time I go back I have to go. Karen Bamber

My all time favourite Italian restaurant... loved it, the atmosphere, the staff, traditional decor, everything. The best spaghetti marinara and garlic bread. Sharon Martin
