“Catch us all week!”
Ahead of the premier at the Winter Gardens last night, the cast of the smash-hit Mamma Mia! gathered in Blackpool for an appropriately-Greek meet-up at Ammos Greek Bakery.
With the musical set on a Greek island paradise, the stunning recent weather also suggested that this Spring show will go down a treat.

A tale of love, friendship and identity, the show tells the story of Sophie’s quest to find the father she’s never known through the timeless songs of ABBA.
Made famous the world over by the hit film of the same name, the show is undoubtedly one of the biggest of the year in Blackpool.
At their Ammos Greet Bakery meet-up ahead of opening night, Eve Parsons - who plays Lisa - said: “Catch us all week at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens at Mamma Mia! See you there!”
Mark Goldthorp - playing Bill Austin - said “Can I break [this plate] now!?”, while Luke Jasztal - who plays Sam Carmichael - said simply: “I love baklava!”
