Major update on Fylde coast Christmas celebrations - what you need to know
“It was an incredibly difficult decision.”
Pilling Village Hall has cancelled its Christmas Markets because of ‘unforeseen circumstances.’
The event was due to take place on Saturday November 21 and the organisers said it was an incredibly difficult decision.
A spokesperson said: “It is with great sadness that we have to announce that our Christmas Markets have unfortunately been cancelled.

“We know how much everyone was looking forward to the Markets, and we completely understand how disappointing this news will be.
“Please believe us when we say this is far from the announcement we wanted to be making.
“We are genuinely sorry to all our stallholders, visitors and everyone who had planned to join us. This certainly wasn't a decision we made lightly.”
They concluded that stallholders who have booked and paid for a stall will automatically receive a full refund in the coming days and assured they do not need to do anything.
“We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.”
Although disappointed about this year's cancellation, there are future events planned including a d summer craft fair in July and next year’s Christmas markets.
“We're truly sorry that we won't be able to welcome you this November, but we hope you understand and that we'll see you all again in 2027.”
