Major plans for new Poulton nightclub revealed alongside restaurant refurb in huge boost for town's nightlife
Exiting things are coming to Poulton as new plans are revealed.
The changing face of Poulton town centre looks set to continue as plans for a new nightclub as well as refurbished restaurants are revealed.
The exciting new plans for a new nightclub in the town were teased on social media earlier this week. ‘The Black Rabbit’ is a new venue which will take over the former Truth club, with more details to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
In a post shared to social media, The Black Rabbit team said: “Before the lights. Before the music. Before the mayhem. This is where The Black Rabbit begins. There’s a lot to do before we open the door… but we thought you might like to see where the story starts.”

Poulton has been missing a proper late-night venue since the shock closure of the Cube last month after 25 years of trading.
The popular bar had been undergoing refurbishments but the owners decided it was time to ‘step away’ from the business in August. They said: “We’re incredibly grateful to every member of staff who has been part of Cube over the years, every performer who appeared here, and every customer who chose to spend their time with us.
“It's the end of an era for Cube and we will be stepping away, but the building will not be empty.

“There are plans for something new and the new operators will be announcing what's next. We hope you look back on Cube with fond memories and we're looking forward to seeing its new chapter unfold. Thank you, Poulton, for being part of the last 25 years.”
Another side of the ongoing changing face in Poulton comes at Bistro Italia, the popular restaurant located on Vicarage Road.
Major renovations are underway at Bistro Italia, with owners Pasquale and Sonya Carpenito announcing a ‘full refurbishment’ of the restaurant’s interior. Famous for its cheap meals and dainty discounts, Bistro Italia will be relaunched complete with a new menu in the coming weeks.
These developments mark a significant period of change for Poulton’s town centre and the town looks set to evolve once again in the coming months.
