“RalphFest is about giving young people the chance to try something, create something, find their thing and have a good day doing it”
An annual day of fun in memory of a Lytham skater and artist who died aged just 26 takes place this Saturday, September 5.
The RalphFest event at Lytham’s Park View 4U playing fields is held in tribute to Ralph Roberts, who died of sarcoidosis, a rare throat condition, in 2021.

His family have set up the charity LiveLikeRalph in his memory and It supports young skaters with facilities and equipment.
RalphFest has raised thousands of pounds since first being held following Ralph’s death and is billed as ‘not your typical family day out’.
The charity says the free event is “one for the kids who’d rather pick up a skateboard, guitar or spray can than stand around being bored”.
