I've lost my son, 16, and I want to raise money in his memory but nobody has donated to our Just Giving appeal
“Cohen and Calvin shared an incredibly close bond”
A heartbroken dad has paid tribute to his 16-year-old son who has tragically died from a cardiac arrest.
Anthony Mahmood said the loss of losing a child is something no parent can ever prepare for as he launched a Just Giving appeal in memory of Cohen, to support his mum as she struggles to come to terms with what has happened.

Cohen, who lived in Wesham, died last Tuesday and despite dealing with his own grief, Blackpool man Anthony, 43, wants to do something practical.
He said: “As you can imagine, the loss of a child is something no parent can ever prepare for, and our family is struggling to come to terms with what has happened.
“Despite dealing with my own grief, I have been trying to do something practical to support his mum and our family during this devastating time.
“I have established a JustGiving fundraising appeal with an initial target of £1,000.”

Anthony and Cohen’s mum are no longer together and understands the medical emergency occurred at home and Cohen was taken to hospital when he passed away. Although he says he still hasn’t received full details.
Cohen was still at school and he was the twin brother of Calvin and older brother to Cheyenne.

“Cohen and Calvin shared an incredibly close bond,” said Anthony.
“They grew up together, were rarely apart and even finished each other’s sentences. Losing Cohen has been devastating for the entire family, particularly his twin brother.”
“Every penny raised will be transferred to Cohen’s mum to help ease the financial pressures she is facing following Cohen’s passing.
“Unfortunately, despite our efforts to share the appeal, we have yet to receive any donations.
“I am not asking for anything for myself. My only intention is to help our family through an incredibly difficult period.
“Although our family circumstances are complicated, none of that matters when it comes to Cohen. This appeal is about remembering my son and supporting those who are grieving his loss.
