Indie faves Doves have announced a Blackpool date on their UK tour.
The "There Goes the Fear" hitmakers will play the Winter Gardens on Friday, September 18, before a huge open air show at London's Regents Park the following week.
The band have released six albums, three of which topped the UK charts, and have had two top 10 singles - There Goes the Fear (number three in 2002) and Black and White Town (number six in 2005).
Their debut album Lost Souls was nominated for the Mercury Music prize in 2000.
The Cheshire-based band members first got together in the early 90s as dance music act Sub Sub, scoring a number three hit in 1993 with A'int No Love (A'int No Use).
Doves' second album The Last Broadcast, released in 2002, reached the top of the U charts and was again nominated for the Mercury prize.
Some Cities and Kingdom of Rust were also huge hits with the band gaining a reputation as an exceptional live act.
