I have had the most craziest and heart-warming year with tattoos and painting - my dreams are getting bigger
“They loved it when it was finished.”
A bland out-dated concrete wall at a Fleetwood scout hut has been given a burst of colour through superb relevant artwork - thanks to artist Adam Salisbury.
Adam, who owns the Inked Artist tattoo shop in Cleveleys, was commissioned to paint 1st Fleetwood St John’s outside wall and what an incredible job he has done with it.
It’s just one of dozens of murals Adam has painted recently, slowly turning walls and private outdoor spaces into true works of art.

The finished paint job in Fleetwood has drawn much attention with its scenes of kayakers, a stunning red deer, a camping scene complete with a camp fire and toasted marshmallows and the pièce de résistance - the Scouts’s purple logo which Adam took time and patience to complete.
“It was a dull and dreary wall and it needed brightening up,” said Adam, “The scouts and leaders had seen my work and asked me to come up with some ideas.”
Once they decided on the artwork, Adam used a dabbing, grid technique for proportion. Basically he dabs the wall with ‘dots’, takes a picture of it and then overlays the artwork, changes the opacity and uses the dots as key reference points to recreate the huge murals on epic scales.
“It’s a similar system to graffiti and I’ve adapted it for myself.
“They loved it when it was finished.”
