I created a Fylde coast ale trail, featuring pubs from Cleveleys, Blackpool, St Annes and Lytham

A man has created a Fylde Coast Ale Trail for beer lovers to follow, with the route travelling through Cleveleys, Blackpool, St Annes and Lytham.

According to Scott Spencer of Microbrew Adventures, the route is intended to serve as an easy to follow guide to drinking across the Fylde coast.

He said: “The Fylde coast Ale Trail links real ale pubs, micropubs and brewery stops from Fleetwood and Cleveleys through Blackpool and down towards Lytham, St Annes and the surrounding villages.

“Trains, trams and local buses make it easy to break the coat into manageable sections. There is no fixed start or finish. Choose the part of the coast that suits you, combine neighbouring stops or use the full guide to build a longer day.”
