Here’s a sneak peek inside at progress on Blackpool’s new Tenpin bowling centre, due to open on June 5.
The centre, one of more than 50 around the country operated by the Tenpin company, is in the former Odeon cinema at Rigby Road and its arrival is creating up to 50 jobs.

The bowling centre, based at the former Odeon cinema on Rigby Road, will stage an official launch on Friday June 5.

The centre will feature not only bowling but karaoke, laser tag, escape rooms and a host of other activities and the new pictures show the lanes and other features taking shape as work goes on apace.
There will be 24 state-of-the-art bowling lanes, two private karaoke rooms, a laser tag arena, three immersive escape rooms and a dedicated soft play area for younger children.

Adults will also have access to interactive darts, pool tables, and a fully equipped arcade, while a cocktail bar and lounge showing live sport will offer a social hub for locals.

Laura Barlow, Regional Manager from Tenpin said: “We chose Blackpool because it’s a town with a strong sense of community, a vibrant tourism scene, and real potential for year-round leisure.
“Our aim is to create a local hub where families, friends, and groups can enjoy high-quality indoor entertainment, whatever the weather.
“This venue will bring people together, support the local economy, and provide a space residents can rely on throughout the year.”
