Everything you need to know about the awards...
Fylde Council is calling on residents to nominate the coaches, clubs, schools and volunteers making a difference through sport and physical activity across the borough.
The Fylde Community Sports Awards 2026 are now open for nominations, giving local people the opportunity to recognise those who go above and beyond to make sport happen in their communities.
Now in its 14th year, the event is described by the council as “the highest sporting honour in the borough of Fylde”. The awards are organised by Fylde Council’s Sports Development Team and are open to anyone who lives, works or contributes within the borough.
The council said the awards are “your chance to shine a spotlight on our local heroes” and is encouraging nominations for everyone from young sporting achievers and clubs transforming lives to volunteers who have dedicated years to supporting their chosen sport.
