Fylde coast school Rossacre Academy reveals series of improvements including new security system
The investment was organised by the school’s academy trust.
A Fylde coast primary school has revealed a series of upgrades and renovations including a new security system and updated reception area.
Rossacre Primary Academy & Nursery announced the upgrades on Monday. Some of the work completed includes a new, modernised entrance to the school, a new reception layout, a new site security and access system, a dedicated parent and carer meeting room and updated fire alarm systems.
These improvements support the academy's newly launched core values: Be Ready, Be Respectful, Be Safe, Be Roseacre. The project, which was delivered over the summer, was funded by the Achievement Through Collaboration Trust, a multi-school academy group based in Blackpool.

Craig Holden, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Achievement Through Collaboration Trust, said: “Investment in our school buildings is an important part of our responsibility as a School Trust.
“We want our staff to have the facilities they need to deliver excellent teaching, and our children to learn in safe, well maintained and inclusive spaces that show how much we value their education and their future.

“The work at Roseacre Primary Academy & Nursery is a great example of this. The Trust’s central team have worked closely with school leaders to manage and deliver a wide range of improvements, allowing the school to focus on its pupils and day to day education while the work has been carried out. It is about making the best use of the buildings we already have and ensuring they continue to meet the needs of our schools.”
According to the trust, it is hoped that the investments will ‘enhance the school environment and support the delivery of exceptional teaching and learning.’
