Fleetwood Police seize illegal E-bike after rider spotted 'going the wrong way down a one way street'
“Illegal E-bikes and E-scooters continue to be one of the main things members of the community raise to us as a concern”
Fleetwood Police seized an illegal e-bike after the rider was spotted riding the wrong way down a one way street.
Officers stopped the rider in Fleetwood’s Park Ward yesterday.

A police spokesperson said: “Riding the wrong way down a one way road is going to draw some attention to you - especially when you do it on an illegal E-bike that can reach speeds of up to 40 mph.
“If getting stopped wasn't bad enough for the rider, enter passer by with his legal knowledge, advice and of course his mobile phone.
“If you have an E-scooter or E-bike please make sure you are aware of the law and if you ride a legal EAPC, then make sure you know the Highway Code.
“Illegal E-bikes and E-scooters continue to be one of the main things members of the community raise to us as a concern and something they want us to deal with and be proactive with.”
