Fire rips through signage near Blackpool's Bonny Street Market

One fire engine and officers on horseback responded to the incident in Central Car Park shortly after 8.50pm.

Hide AdFirefighters used one hose reel to tackle the flames - which were burning dangerously close to a parked car in the vicinity.
Police said the fire started in a nearby rubbish bin.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service has been approached to see if they are treating the incident as suspicious.
Crews were at the scene for twenty five minutes, the fire service said.
