Fire crews called to wood store fire in Seasiders Way

Fire crews from Blackpool and South Shore were called to the scene in Seasiders Way after a wood store caught fire.

The fire was reported at 1.33pm and firefighters were in attendance for around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

No casualties were reported.

A fire service spokesman said: "Firefighters from Blackpool and South Shore fire stations were called to reports of a blaze at Seasiders Way, Blackpool.

"Crews found a fire involving a wood store which they extinguished in an operation using 3 hose reels, a triple extension ladder and a saw."
