Two men in a “toxic” relationship egged each other on to commit hideous acts which saw one of them sexually abuse a young boy. William Greenhalgh, 22, carried out the sick attack after encouragement from boyfriend Abhiyaan Malhotra - before sending him photographs of the heinous incident. Greenhalgh, now of no fixed address but formerly of Dunelt Road, Blackpool, was charged with making and distributing indecent photographs/ pseudo-photographs of a child, sexual assault against a child, and possessing a prohibited image of a child. He pleaded guilty to all the charges against him. Malhotra, 25, of Terrace Road, Swansea, was charged with voyeurism and arranging/ facilitating the commission of a child sex offence. He pleaded guilty to both offences. Greenhalgh was sentenced to 40 months imprisonment, made subject of a lifetime sexual harm prevention order and ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for life. A St Annes paedophile who repeatedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl while working as a private music tutor in the late 1990s was jailed for his crimes. Gary Fox, 62, of Clifton Drive North, was found guilty of seven counts of indecent assault at Preston Crown Court in September 2021. On November 26, he was sentenced to six and a half years in prison. He was also given an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order and must sign the sex offenders register. Photo: Lancashire Police
