It is one of a number of raids by taskforces across Lancashire recently, with cannabis crops seized from homes in Blackpool, Preston and East Lancashire.

Last week, two men and a 15-year-old boy were remanded in custody after police found more than 1,000 cannabis plants at an industrial unit in Bispham.

Police said the potential street value of the plants had been estimated at more than £1million.
