Death of Blackpool woman Mandy Love no longer a suspected murder

A woman whose sudden death sparked an intense police investigation is no longer thought to have been murdered.

Mandy Love, aged in her 50s, was found dead in the doorway of her Clayton Crescent home in South Shore at 10.16pm on May 5. Police had attended in response to a concern for safety call.

A 61-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder and was released pending further enquiries.

A post-mortem examination carried out a few days later found the cause of Miss Love's death was 'unascertained'.

"The woman initially arrested has been released no further action."
