Blackpool driver arrested after A30 crash leaves man in his 90s with ‘life-threatening injuries’

Police were called to a two-vehicle collision on the A30 shortly before 12.20pm on Wednesday (October 26).
The incident – which involved a red Vauxhall Agila and a Renault recovery vehicle – occurred on the eastbound carriageway at Minzies near Bodmin.

Hide AdThe driver of the Agila, a man in his 90s, was airlifted to hospital with “suspected life-threatening injuries”.
A 62-year-old man from Blackpool was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He was later released under investigation pending further enquiries.
“Officers from the Roads Policing Team and Serious investigation units attended the scene and carried out a detailed investigation,” a spokesman for Devon & Cornwall Police said.
