Coastguard rescues 'struggling' man from sea near Blackpool Lifeboat Station on Central Promenade

A man was rescued from the water near Blackpool Lifeboat Station on Sunday evening after being spotted struggling in the sea.
Fleetwood Coastguard Rescue Team located the man at 8.03pm on Sunday, 12 July, after responding to the incident.
Coastguards retrieved him from the water safely, with the man found to be safe and well.
No further assistance was required, and the incident was brought to a close after the man left the scene.
