Blackpool Zoo welcomes adorable new addition Asha to the fold
An adorable new addition has landed at Blackpool Zoo.
Say hello to Asha - a one-and-a-half-year-old male sitatunga.
Asha joined the fold recently from Marwell Wildlife as part of the EAZA Ex-situ Programme (EEP).

Pictures captured by keeper Abbie show a happy Asha arriving at the zoo.

He’ll soon be settling into the brand-new antelope stable at the bottom of our expanded giraffe habitat, where he’ll live alongside the rest of the sitatunga herd and giraffes Olympia and O’Grady.
Blackpool Zoo is a 32-acre zoo, owned by Parques Reunidos and located in the sea-side resort of Blackpool.
It cares for over 1,000 animals from all over the world
