Blackpool weather forecast this week as showers give way to sunshine and warmer temperatures
Temperatures are set to rise across Blackpool this week, with early showers giving way to settled, sunny conditions by midweek.
Blackpool is set for a mixed start to the week, with showers expected before warmer and sunnier weather arrives in the coming days.
According to the Met Office, Monday will begin with some sunny spells after early fog and frost clear, but cloud will build through the day with scattered showers developing in the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to reach around 14C locally.

Showers are likely to continue overnight, with clear spells at times and a freshening easterly breeze.
Temperatures could drop to around 3C to 4C, with a risk of patchy frost.
Tuesday will see a similar pattern, with bright spells and a few showers in the morning before conditions turn drier into the afternoon.
Highs are expected to reach around 15C, though it may feel cooler in the breeze.
From midweek onwards, the weather is expected to settle, with high pressure bringing largely dry conditions across the region.
Wednesday is forecast to be a sunny day with temperatures climbing to around 16C, followed by even warmer conditions on Thursday and Friday, with highs of 18C expected.
The settled spell is likely to continue into the weekend, with sunshine on Saturday and temperatures around 17C, before turning slightly more changeable on Sunday with some cloud and highs of around 16C.
Despite the improving conditions, overnight temperatures will remain cool throughout the week, with a continued chance of patchy frost in places.
