Air ambulance lands in Memorial Park after man 'falls ill' in Fleetwood

A man who "fell ill" in Fleetwood has been rushed to hospital for treatment today (March 30).

Paramedics rushed to the scene at a business address on Siding Road following a 999 call shortly before 11.55am.

An air ambulance was called to the scene and was spotted by residents landing on Memorial Park.

It has now been confirmed that emergency services were helping a man who had reportedly "fallen ill".

He was subsequently taken to hospital by road for treatment.
