St Annes Square to host new monthly artisan market - here’s what you can expect
A vibrant new monthly artisan market is set to bring Fylde’s independent makers, designers and food producers to the heart of St Annes Square.
St Annes Square is set to host a new hub of independent traders and businesses this spring with the launch of a new monthly artisan market.
Residents and visitors can explore a diverse range of handmade crafts, local food and drink and products from emerging creative businesses at the first market on April, Saturday,11 running from 10am to 4pm.
The initiative, a partnership between Fylde Council and Lancashire-based Crafty Vintage, will continue on the second Saturday of every month throughout 2026.
Crafty Vintage was established in 2011 and boasts more than 15 years of experience producing artisan markets and vintage fairs across the North West, showcasing classic vintage items, quirky handmade products and fine local foods.
Councillor Karen Buckley, Leader of Fylde Council, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Crafty Vintage to St Annes Square and bring this wonderful monthly market to our residents and visitors.
“This partnership celebrates creativity, supports independent businesses and provides even more reasons to enjoy our beautiful town centre.”
The market will feature a rotating selection of seasonal and themed traders offering everything from artisanal foods and beverages to handmade crafts and innovative designs from local start-ups.
The market will highlight the region’s independent talent while providing a welcoming space for community gatherings following a £3.1 million refurbishment of St Annes Square in 2025, with improvements having created a spacious, inviting public area ideally suited for events and social activities.
Cllr Buckley, said: “I can’t wait to see the Square come alive with talented local makers, delicious food and that special buzz that only a great market can bring. This is exactly the kind of community event that makes Fylde such a special place to live and visit.”
