Three Lancashire airmen were part of a six strong team of RAF fastjet engineers which completed a remarkable week-long charity marathon running challenge at Anfield football ground. The runners, which included chief technician Andy Wiles from Lytham, Squadron Leader Paul Allison from Ormskirk, and chief technician Mike Brewster from Thornton Cleveleys, were all aircraft engineers on the Typhoon project at BAE Systems in Warton.
